IIn response to business growth, expanded areas of focus, regulatory compliance, industry collaboration, talent development, and deepening engagement in sustainability and climate change issues, Chicony Electronics continuously reviews relevant international standards and stakeholder concerns. We actively participates in industry associations as a member and has in recent years supported or joined international initiatives such as SBTi, TCFD, TNFD, and RE100, as well as climatefocused organizations like the Taiwan Climate Partnership.
We hope to participate through organizations or initiatives to stay informed of developments in sustainable industries and collaborate with organizational partners to jointly drive positive impact, pursuing the sustainable coexistence of industry and the Earth.

Note: All forms of participation align with the GRI definition that "membership is considered strategically significant when the organization believes its involvement influences the association’s mission or objectives and is critical to the organization's own activities."

Since committing in August 2023 to achieve 100% renewable electricity use by 2030 and joining the RE100 initiative, we have continuously advanced the adoption of renewable energy over the past three years. Key actions include:
1. Rooftop solar installations: Solar panels have been fully installed across the rooftops of major production sites.
2. Ground-based energy storage systems The CEM2 has completed installation, the CEM3 is currently in progress, and other major sites are under evaluation.
3. Purchased renewable electricity: In the initial stage, we primarily adopted renewable energy certificates (RECs) under unbundled RECs. It is now gradually transitioning toward bundled RECs. Approximately 30% of renewable electricity comes from bundled RECs, while 70% is sourced through unbundled RECs.
The RE100 initiative, launched by "The Climate Group," aims to drive corporate commitment toward 100% renewable electricity usage. By the end of 2025, more than 400 leading global companies had joined the initiative and committed to renewable energy adoption.
The RE100 Taiwan Member Meeting, convened annually by the Chung-Hua Institution for Economic Research (CIER), serves as a platform for members to share and discuss key trends in renewable electricity. In 2025, in addition to keynote presentations, government and corporate representatives were invited to serve as discussion facilitators. Two rounds of discussions were held covering seven major topics: "Inter-ministerial collaboration," "Public-private partnership directions," "Demand-side regulations," "Supply-side regulations," "International standards alignment," "Forward-looking energy planning," and "Green electricity products." Chicony Electronics Group, including both Chicony Electronics and Chicony Power, participated in the event and shared our experiences and achievements with other members.
The first RE100 Thailand Member Meeting was also held in 2025, inviting companies with operations in Thailand to participate. Chicony Group was honored to be invited and shared insights in sessions covering "business cases," "global renewable energy development trends," and "Thailand’s local renewable energy market."
Both meetings were held on December 12, 2025, with teams participating concurrently in Taiwan and Thailand, jointly advancing our commitment toward 100% renewable electricity and contributing to a low-carbon and green future.
