Stakeholder Engagement
Stakeholder expectations of the Company significantly influence the organization's ability to achieve sustainability goals. Therefore, effective communication with stakeholders, obtaining their feedback, and promptly adjusting sustainability practices to meet stakeholder expectations are our key priorities.
In 2024, Chicony launched a project to align with IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standard S1, "General Requirements for Disclosure of Sustainability-related Financial Information" (IFRS S1). For the first time, we identified stakeholders and material topics based on the consolidated financial reporting scope (covering Chicony, Chicony Power, and XAVI), and used this as the basis for our disclosures.

Stakeholder Identification (Steps 1 & 2)
In accordance with the AA1000 Stakeholder Engagement Standard (AA1000SES), which encompasses five key principles—Responsibility, Influence, Tension, Diverse Perspectives, and Dependency—we distributed identification questionnaires to colleagues across various units of the Chicony Group in 2024. A total of 96 questionnaires were issued, comprising 32 from Chicony, 33 from Chicony Power, and 31 from XAVI. From 11 categories of stakeholders, we identified five primary stakeholders: Customers, Employees/Unions (referred to as "Employees" in 2023), Regulatory Authorities, Shareholders/Investors, and Suppliers/ Distributors/ Retailers (referred to as "Supply Chain" in 2023). The five primary stakeholders remain consistent with the scope covered in 2023, with only improved clarification of their titles and coverage.
We conduct a stakeholder concern survey every two years. Following the 2023 survey, we compiled that year's results. In 2024, we reaffirmed and consolidated stakeholder concerns and expectations regarding various sustainability topics based on the outcomes of ongoing communication throughout the year.
