CEC recognizes that innovation is the key to sustainable corporate development. We continuously invest in research and development to maintain industry competitiveness through technological innovation, while incorporating ESG principles to drive sustainable product transformation. In product development and production processes, CEC adopts a Product Life Cycle (PLC) approach—starting from product design to end-of-life disposal—striving to meet fundamental customer requirements such as functionality, quality, and durability, while also upholding environmentally friendly principles.
We adhere to the KISS (Keep It Simple, Stupid) principle by optimizing mechanical structures at the design stage, reducing unnecessary components and overly complex designs. This approach not only enhances product performance and durability but also minimizes material and energy consumption during manufacturing. Additionally, we actively adopt high-performance materials and low-environmental-impact manufacturing technologies to ensure our products are both eco-friendly and competitive. This approach enables innovation to not only drive CEC’s growth but also create greater value for the environment and society.

Product Carbon Footprint
Since 2023, CEC has been actively promoting the concept of product carbon footprint across the company. We have launched carbon footprint inventory projects for five products, with each business unit designating at least one representative product. In 2024, all 5 projects were successfully completed, with 3 products obtaining ISO 14067 product carbon footprint verification certificates.
In 2023, we collaborated with external vendors to establish the CEC ISO 14064 Carbon Management System and the ISO 14067 Product Carbon Footprint System. The ISO 14067 Product Carbon Footprint System has been completed and will continue to be optimized and automated. In the future, it is expected to effectively reduce the complexity of calculating product carbon footprints, while continuously integrating with the company's internal systems to achieve automation and reduce manual inventory costs.
