We fully support the Paris Agreement and Taiwan’s Climate Change Response Act, and publicly commit that all policy advocacy and any lobbying activities, if any, are aligned with these climate objectives. In pursuit of sustainability, we actively cooperate with government policies to prevent pollution and drive continuous improvement. To ensure the effective implementation of environmental management policies, Chicony promotes relevant initiatives through joint efforts by the ESG Sustainability Office, the Administrative Department, and the administrative departments of each factory, ensuring the execution and continuous improvement of the management system.

Environmental Expenditure
The Company is actively engaged in environmental management. In 2024, total environmental expenditures amounted to NT$33,376 thousand, covering areas such as pollution prevention, waste treatment, environmental impact reduction, and environmental monitoring. Over 50% of the expenditure was allocated to pollution prevention, reflecting our strong commitment to protecting air, water, and soil quality. External waste disposal accounted for 16% of the expenditure, ensuring compliance with regulations and proper disposal. Environmental reduction projects accounted for 17%, focusing on reducing resource consumption and environmental impact. Consulting, auditing, and verification expenses were incurred to ensure the effective operation of the environmental management system. Environmental monitoring was conducted to track and improve environmental performance. We are also committed to education and training to enhance employees' environmental awareness. Through these efforts, we continuously optimize environmental management and move towards sustainable development.
